How to Use your Android camera as a wireless webcam or an IP Cam!

Hello guys! Today I'm gonna show you to setup Web cam for your PC. So you have no need to buy any costly webcam because  DroidCam turns your Android device into a wireless webcam, letting you chat on Skype, Google+, and other programs.
It also works with OBS/XSplit/etc for streaming to Twitch or YouTube.
You can also use DroidCam as an IP webcam (or Surveillance Camera) via a Internet browser virtually on all networks. Use it as a simple pet cam, spy cam, or a security camera.

Lets do it...

Note:- You need to download both side of  Droidcam application ( Android as well as PC )

*There are 4 method to connect Android Camera With PC
a) Connect via Wifi
b) Connect via USB
c) Connect via Internet browser or another device ( IP Camera)
d) WiFi Server Mode (DroidCamX only, 3G/LTE compatible)

Here i am discussing about to connect via Wifi

1. First you need to Install >> DroidCam Wireless Webcam << app in your android Device from Play Store.

2. After that you have to download the DroidCam Application for PC. just Click on Download button.

3. If you can’t find any shortcuts, “DroidCamApp.exe” is in the installation folder: C -> Program Files or Program Files (x86) -> DroidCam .

4. Now Turn on WiFi on your phone and connect to your home (or work/school) network as you normally would. You should be able to access web pages via the browser app.

5. Start the phone app. It should show the Wifi name, and IP & Port information. If the IP is all zeros (0.0.0.0) – you are not properly connected to a WiFi network.

6. On the PC client, make sure the connection method is “WiFi/LAN”. Enter the IP and Port as displayed on the phone. Click [start].

7. The phone app should start showing the camera output. The PC client should start updating the “webcam” output – you can check in Skype/etc. Find “webcam” or “video” settings in the options/preferences of these programs.

8. Use the [stop] button to disconnect.

If the connection fails, try:
– Closing and re-opening the app
– Toggling the Wifi on phone and/or laptop
– Changing the connection port number in the app & client (eg. 4748 …)
– Restarting your Wifi router (unplug from power, wait a few seconds, and plug it back in)
